Pan-Asian cultural collective Yeti Out teams up with Tokyo’s Ryota Daimon for “BUILT DIFFERENT” — an installation putting the cities that made them who they are, on the map. Raised on high-rises, fast life, and no sleep, Yeti Out x Ryota Daimon pairs the high octane energy of Kowloon with Shibuya across a series of airbrushed paintings and a centre piece that displays the collaborator’s downtown, street-bred energy. Yeti Out focuses on pushing the envelope in Asia’s creative circles with music as the foundation while bridging artistry from East & West. Through its series of pop-up parties, record releases, apparel drops, printed zines and more, Yeti Out captures the euphoria of late nights and early mornings to reflect youth movements that shape creative cultures in cities that never sleep. Founded in 2010 in London as web 1.0 experiment, and now head quartered in Hong Kong and Shanghai, Yeti Out has branched into a record label, radio station and creative agency.
